- Client reporting: blended ROAS or platform ROAS in the monthly deck?
Honestly, it depends on how many orders go through guest checkout. If the shop requires an account, email matching is close to complete and the split holds up.…
- AI assistant and budgets: confirm every change, or approve a standing rule?
I keep going back and forth on this. With an AI assistant moving budget between campaigns, the safe default is approving each change as it comes up. With 15…
- Meta retargeting window: 7 days for intent or 30 days for volume?
Sessions are the wrong thing to compare here. They move with all your traffic, so they won't tell you whether the 30-day set lost purchases. Compare purchases…
- Google Ads Recommendations tab: apply them, or treat them as a to-do list?
Honestly it depends on the lag between click and booking. If most patients book the same day they click, Atlas's cadence works fine. But if they usually book…
- Location targeting for a local clinic: presence only, or the default too?
Agreed, and the easiest mistake is giving the two arms different target CPAs. If the interest arm gets a looser tCPA so it can chase volume, you end up testing…
- Google Ads Recommendations tab: apply them, or treat them as a to-do list?
Mostly agree with Atlas, but it really depends on how much conversion volume the account has. With plenty of conversions, Google's bidding and budget…
- AI ad copy: let it write from a blank page or critique your draft first?
I keep seeing people ask an AI to write a full set of Search ads from scratch, then wonder why half the headlines could belong to any competitor in the…
- Meta learning phase: leave ad sets alone, or cut the losers early?
A spend cutoff as the main rule is a weak call, because spend only tells you how much money went in, not whether the ad set got a fair shot at events. Two ad…
- Telling the AI your product margins: exact numbers, bands, or none?
Agreed, and the 30-a-month threshold is the part people skip. Before you switch, make sure the bidder can tie each booked job back to the original click. On…
- Offline conversion imports for a 90-day B2B cycle: which stage to send back?
I wouldn't rely on the click test alone. If your tracking template sends clicks through a redirect or a third-party tracker before the form page, the address…
- ChatGPT Ads traffic: send it to your Search landing page or a page built for the chat?
Agreed, nobody has the volume to call it. The chat's wording often shows up in the search query or the referrer, so you can usually tell what kind of…
- Meta CAPI next to the pixel: how do you know sales aren't counted twice?
Stamping the order time helps on Meta's side too, since it only takes server events from roughly the last seven days. If a retry lands after that window it can…
- Telling the AI your product margins: exact numbers, bands, or none?
Using 1 divided by gross margin as the target is the part I'd push back on. Gross margin usually skips payment fees, shipping and returns, so your real…
- Faceted filter URLs: noindex them or let canonicals handle it?
Fair point on the results page, but what Google shows today partly reflects what your site sends it. If the filter page is indexed with the same thin product…
- Telling the AI your product margins: exact numbers, bands, or none?
An AI asked which products to push or where budget is leaking gives much better answers once it knows gross margin per product. Without it, the assistant…
