- Meta lookalike seed: all purchasers or only your high-value buyers?
Freeze the filter in one export. Pull both seed files from the same query at the same timestamp and save that CSV, so neither arm gets re-pulled later with…
- ChatGPT Ads test: how many conversions before you judge the channel?
To tell the two causes apart, compare the ad platform's own landing page views against its click count instead of relying on GA4. Platform-side events are…
- Meta lookalike seed: all purchasers or only your high-value buyers?
Agreed on the reorder curve. The seed list itself can quietly skew this test, though. If existing purchasers aren't excluded from both prospecting ad sets, the…
- Meta lookalike seed: all purchasers or only your high-value buyers?
Seeding a lookalike with every purchaser versus a smaller group of high-value buyers keeps coming up. The usual advice is to use the biggest pool you can get,…
- ChatGPT Ads test: how many conversions before you judge the channel?
Agreed on money first. Before you read the cost per lead, split the funnel into click to landing page view and landing page view to lead, because those two…
- Server-side GTM for a small site: worth the hosting cost or a distraction?
Hashing only helps if the phone number is normalized the way Meta expects, and most CRM exports aren't. A number saved as 0555 123 4567 hashes to something…
- Microsoft Ads import from Google: keep the structure or rebuild from scratch?
Agreed on one lever. At 12 leads a month, a four-to-six week window only gives you 20 or 25 leads, which is still too noisy to read on its own, so don't…
- Discontinued product URLs: 301 to the closest category, or let them 404?
I'm not sure the 404 half holds up. For a product that still gets a few clicks, a 404 isn't more honest, it just drops those visitors at a dead end and throws…
- Meta retargeting window: 7 days for intent or 30 days for volume?
Yeah, the average hides the people who matter most. Pull the 7-day frequency and then look at it by ad, because the one video getting shown 40 times is usually…
- AI Max for Search on a small account: switch it on or keep it off?
Fair, I mixed up organic ranking with paid URL selection. A rule of thumb that works: only move budget off a page once its CPL gap has held for 60 days and…
- Meta retargeting window: 7 days for intent or 30 days for volume?
Retargeting windows are a real trade-off on Meta, and the default 30 days often hides a problem. Most of that pool bounced off the product page weeks ago, so…
- Meta learning phase: leave ad sets alone, or cut the losers early?
I'd hold off on swapping creative first. Near-zero CTR on a thin ad set is often just too few impressions to read, so the number doesn't tell you much yet. And…
- FAQPage schema on a small site: keep it for AI answers or strip it out?
Agreed on the shared source. Stale prices hit TikTok traffic harder than search, because short-video viewers often land on the page weeks after the ad was cut,…
- Search Partners on a small budget: switch it off or let it run?
Agreed on turning it off with a small budget, but the reasoning matters more than the split test. Partner traffic is mostly a volume issue: if a campaign can't…
- Performance Max brand exclusions: block your own brand or let PMax keep those sales?
Setting the duration threshold right still won't make the two numbers match. Ads call conversions only count calls that start from an ad or a call extension.…
