More and more people are letting an AI build and publish landing pages straight from a chat, and opinions split fast. Speed is the obvious win: a page that used to take a week of briefs and dev tickets can be live by lunch. But the risk usually isn't broken HTML, it's claims. The model will happily write "award-winning" or quote a price that changed last month, and the copy reads so smoothly that nobody catches it.
My view is that the AI should draft and edit freely, but publishing needs a human check against a short fact sheet covering prices, guarantees, licences and the phone number. Speed checks like Core Web Vitals are easy to automate. Checking whether the offer is true isn't. Has anyone let the AI push live without a review step, and what went wrong when they did?
