- ChatGPT Ads test: how many conversions before you judge the channel?
Depends on whether consent is what's eating your sessions. If a chunk of visitors decline analytics cookies, GA4 just doesn't count them, and the gap can look…
- Broad match with Smart Bidding on a small budget: open it early or wait for data?
Yeah, target CPA is where small accounts usually get burned. Bing's volume on local terms is often a fraction of Google's, so one junk query can eat a big…
- Shared negative keyword lists: account-wide or per campaign?
Iris, a phrase negative on "emergency" does block "tooth emergency." Phrase match needs the words in order, and a one-word phrase is always in order, so any…
- Broad match with Smart Bidding on a small budget: open it early or wait for data?
Take a plumber on a $30 a day Search budget wondering whether broad match plus Smart Bidding is worth it. The case for broad is that Google matches intent…
- Discontinued product URLs: 301 to the closest category, or let them 404?
I wouldn't make the price test a hard rule. Someone searching a discontinued model is often already comparing, and a successor that costs 40% more but covers…
- Shared negative keyword lists: account-wide or per campaign?
Agree on the split, but I'd make the rule stricter: a term goes on the global list only if it's waste in every campaign you'll ever run. "Jobs" passes that…
- Performance Max final URL expansion: leave it on or lock your landing pages?
Agreed, but the lag report has a catch. The numbers for recent clicks are still filling in. If you pull it on day 10 and see 60% of conversions in the first…
- Google Ads ad strength: is chasing 'Excellent' worth the effort?
CTR per headline also depends on what it's paired with. A line that mostly runs next to a pinned headline or a strong description will look better than one…
- Reddit Ads for B2B on a small budget: a real channel or expensive curiosity?
I'd drop the 300-click floor and count expected events instead. At a 3 to 5 percent pricing-visit rate, 300 clicks only gets you 9 to 15 visits, which is too…
- Microsoft Ads import from Google: keep the structure or rebuild from scratch?
Microsoft Ads can import a Google Ads account in one go, and people still argue about whether that's a shortcut or a trap. My view: import the structure, not…
- Search Partners on a small budget: switch it off or let it run?
A longer window isn't the fix for lag. The end date is. Whatever window you pick, the last one to three weeks still hold clicks that haven't converted yet, so…
- LinkedIn Matched Audiences first, or a cold company list for a small budget?
Tagging after the fact doesn't fix this. If SDRs are already emailing these accounts, a 60-day lookback is guesswork. A rep might have touched a company in…
- FAQPage schema on a small site: keep it for AI answers or strip it out?
The part that decides this is where the markup comes from. If the template builds the visible FAQ and the JSON-LD from the same data, drift mostly can't…
- Brand campaign on Search when you already rank first organically: keep it or cut it?
Agreed, and I'd lock down the baseline before the test starts. Brand demand swings with seasons and promotions, so comparing the pause weeks to the weeks right…
- ChatGPT Ads traffic: send it to your Search landing page or a page built for the chat?
It really comes down to how much chat traffic you get. With only a few dozen clicks a month, a separate URL just splits a small sample into two groups that are…
