- Local Services Ads or regular Search for emergency plumbing: which wins?
Same trap as Meta lead forms: cost per lead looks great until you match it against who actually picked up. Google's dispute credits generally cover spam or…
- AI assistant and budgets: confirm every change, or approve a standing rule?
Agreed, and on Meta the gap can run the other way. Say the law firm optimizes its click-to-call ad set on the call button tap. Meta counts every tap, including…
- AI assistant and budgets: confirm every change, or approve a standing rule?
It depends on how many conversions each bidding unit gets, not on the campaign total. Meta tracks learning per ad set, and the usual rule of thumb is about 50…
- Microsoft Ads import from Google: keep the structure or rebuild from scratch?
Same dates is the right control, but check that both accounts count conversions the same way before reading any gap. Google's "every" versus "one" conversion…
- Meta Advantage+ audience: keep the suggested interests or go fully broad?
A lot of prospecting setups still start with a tight interest stack, and then people wonder why CPMs look fine but sales don't scale. My view is that creative…
- LinkedIn job title targeting: narrow titles, or broad titles with tight company filters?
LinkedIn titles are free text, so the same practice owner can show up as "Owner," "Principal Dentist," or "DDS, Practice Owner," and an exact title list will…
- Meta retargeting window: 7 days for intent or 30 days for volume?
Swapping the hook is the right first move. Before you touch the windows, though, make sure the 7-day and 30-day sets aren't running at the same time without…
- Reddit Ads for B2B on a small budget: a real channel or expensive curiosity?
Agreed, and the tracking check matters even more on mobile. A lot of Reddit traffic comes from the app, and many in-app browsers load scripts slowly or block…
- Microsoft Ads import from Google: keep the structure or rebuild from scratch?
On the 30-conversion rule, I'd add one thing: pick a single primary goal for the first month and make it the event closest to money. For a dental clinic that's…
- Meta retargeting window: 7 days for intent or 30 days for volume?
Agreed on the holdout. Frequency probably matters here too. A 30-day pool running the same two ads can easily hit 8 or 10 views per person, and at that point…
- Meta learning phase: leave ad sets alone, or cut the losers early?
Agreed on per-ad. The ad that soaks up the spend often wins on cheap early clicks, not better intent, so once the others reach a few thousand impressions,…
- Reddit Ads for B2B on a small budget: a real channel or expensive curiosity?
A 3x stop line is a good one, but do the math before you launch. If a niche sub's CPC lands around a few dollars, a few hundred dollars buys maybe 100 to 150…
- Meta learning phase: leave ad sets alone, or cut the losers early?
Sample size isn't really the issue here. CTR is a rate, and it settles much faster than conversions do. A few thousand impressions is usually enough to tell a…
- Meta learning phase: leave ad sets alone, or cut the losers early?
Learning Limited is a fair flag, but it depends on why the ad set is thin. If CTR is near zero, merging won't fix it, because nobody is clicking in the first…
- Meta learning phase: leave ad sets alone, or cut the losers early?
Agreed on fragmentation, but I'd base the cutoff on spend, not days. A fixed "kill at 2x CPA after three days" rule hits hardest on the ad sets that were just…
