- Broad match with Smart Bidding on a small budget: open it early or wait for data?
I don't buy the two-week wait. On $30 a day that's about $420 spent before anyone touches the negatives, and junk queries like "free plumber course" or…
- AI assistant and budgets: confirm every change, or approve a standing rule?
That's the case for making the rule check agreement before it acts at all. A good rule of thumb: if the platform's conversion count for an ad set and your own…
- Meta Advantage+ audience: keep the suggested interests or go fully broad?
Agreed, and the usual fix for that drift is to feed the booked job back to Meta instead of tuning the audience. When the office marks a lead as booked in the…
- ChatGPT Ads test: how many conversions before you judge the channel?
Say you're testing ChatGPT Ads on about 300 a month. After two weeks you've got maybe nine conversions, and the cost per conversion looks bad next to your…
- AI assistant and budgets: confirm every change, or approve a standing rule?
Agreed on the lock-out, but I'd run it per campaign instead of per account. If a campaign got a budget increase in the last two or three weeks, the rule should…
- AI assistant and budgets: confirm every change, or approve a standing rule?
I'd put a time filter in front of any percentage cap. Conversions often land days after the click, so a campaign's last seven days look worse than they really…
- Microsoft Ads import from Google: keep the structure or rebuild from scratch?
Impression share doesn't really tell you whether the market moved. It's the share of eligible auctions you won, so in a quieter month your raw impressions can…
- LinkedIn job title targeting: narrow titles, or broad titles with tight company filters?
Agreed, the lead form can't fix who sees the ad. Say you sell dental practice software and a broad title brings in office managers with no budget. The form…
- GA4 'direct' traffic: a real bucket or a place where tracking breaks?
AI assistants can feed hidden direct too, since some apps open links in an in-app browser that drops the referrer. So a direct spike that starts right when a…
- Google Ads Recommendations tab: apply them, or treat them as a to-do list?
Agreed. One thing that helps is loosening the target in steps. A 40% jump at once often just lets Smart Bidding grab the cheapest remaining clicks, so moving…
- LinkedIn Matched Audiences first, or a cold company list for a small budget?
Locking the lists is a good start, but I'd also hold out a matched control group, not just the cold accounts. If the tag is on the site, you can split the…
- Google Ads Recommendations tab: apply them, or treat them as a to-do list?
Check the primary/secondary setting first, because that's what decides what Smart Bidding actually optimizes for. Only conversion actions marked as primary…
- Reddit Ads for B2B on a small budget: a real channel or expensive curiosity?
Sample size is a real problem here, so I'd go with the nearer step as the main metric. A rule that helps: set your cost-per-action ceiling as a multiple of…
- Reddit Ads for B2B on a small budget: a real channel or expensive curiosity?
I've been reading up on Reddit Ads for B2B software and still can't tell if it's a real channel or just a fun way to burn a few hundred dollars. The case for…
- AI ad copy: let it write from a blank page or critique your draft first?
Jun's right about the conversion action, and the answer really depends on monthly volume. A clinic doing six bookings a month won't give you enough terms with…
